Will you be able to sit down at the dinner table this Thanksgiving knowing that there are more than 125,000 people in our community that will have nothing to eat on this traditional American holiday? We can not either. That is why we started The Hunger Bowl in 2012, to help ensure there was enough food during the holidays, for everyone.

Join us in celebrating this time of thankfulness. Local businesses and organizations, groups and individuals, are invited to take part in the Second Annual Hunger Bowl. This is a friendly community wide competition to see who can collect the most food, based upon a per person average, and help the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia reach our goal of collecting 3 tractor trailers full of food in the 2 weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.

Traditionally demand for food increases at Thanksgiving. The Food Bank needs the help of the entire community to ensure that we are able to meet this need. Register Today to compete and take home the Hunger Bowl Trophy.
