Join us on Wednesday March 6th at 11:30 at the Classic Center in downtown Athens for this simple, but important, event to help us raise awareness about the issue of hunger in our community.

Now in its 15th year, this annual event is a community project to raise much needed funds to support the work of The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. The luncheon offers the opportunity to enjoy a simple lunch of soup and sandwich, select a hand-crafted or hand-painted bowl, and bid on beautiful silent auction items. Traditional pimento cheese and chicken salad sandwiches will be served along with delicious soups from local caterers and restaurants. Featured restaurants include: Hilltop Grille, Center Stage Catering, Classic City Chefs, Brett’s Restaurant, Fresh Inspiration Cafe, Last Resort, Royal Peasant, and Broad Street Coffee.

Tickets $20. Call Tina Laseter at 706-354-8191 or donations@foodbanknega.org to reserve your seat. To purchase tickets online click on the purple donate now button at the top of the page and enter $20 in the other amount box.
